This return policy complies with California law and applies to all customers purchasing interior doors in California.
Return of Standard Interior Doors
Standard doors are pre-manufactured models that have not been modified or custom-made to buyer specifications.
Return Terms:
Return Period: Standard interior doors may be returned within 30 days of purchase or delivery.

Condition Requirements:
  • Doors must be unused, uninstalled, and undamaged
  • All original packaging, hardware, and accessories must be included
  • No scratches, chips, or signs of installation attempts
  • Items must be in resalable condition

Documentation Required:
  • Original sales receipt or order confirmation
  • Photo identification matching the purchaser name

Return Shipping:
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or was shipped in error
  • Items must be properly packaged to prevent damage during transit
  • We recommend insured shipping with tracking

Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of up to 20% may be applied to cover inspection, processing, and return to inventory costs.

Refund Processing:
  • Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving the returned item
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or product defect
Custom and Made-to-Order Interior Doors Non-Returnable Items: Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1584.5, custom-made goods manufactured to customer specifications are not eligible for return, cancellation, or refund except in cases of defect or breach of warranty.

Custom/made-to-order doors include:
  • Non-standard dimensions or sizes
  • Custom paint colors or finishes
  • Special milling, routing, or design modifications
  • Custom glass inserts or decorative elements
  • Any door manufactured to buyer's specific requirements

Important Notice:Before ordering custom doors, please:
  • Verify all measurements carefully (we recommend professional measurement)
  • Confirm color selections, finishes, and specifications in writing
  • Review and approve detailed order specifications
  • Understand that custom orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing begins
Defective Products and Warranty ClaimsAll customers are protected under California’s implied warranties and manufacturer warranties regardless of whether products are standard or custom-made.

Inspection Requirements:Upon Delivery/Pickup:
  • Inspect all items immediately upon receipt
  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt
  • Refuse delivery if significant damage is apparent
  • Photograph any defects immediately

Defect Notification: If you discover a defect or damage after acceptance:
  • Notify us immediately in writing
  • Provide photographs clearly showing the defect
  • Include your order number and contact information
  • Retain all packaging materials

Warranty Coverage:Manufacturing Defects: If a door has a manufacturing defect, we will, at our option:
  • Repair the defect at no charge
  • Replace the defective door
  • Provide a full refund including shipping costs

Warranty Period:
  • Manufacturing warranty terms are specified by the manufacturer
  • California’s implied warranty of merchantability applies to all products
  • Warranty claims must be made within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect

What Warranty Does NOT Cover:
  • Damage from improper installation
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Modifications made after purchase
  • Damage from environmental conditions (excessive moisture, temperature extremes)

Return Procedure Step 1: Contact Customer ServiceBefore returning any item:

Important: Returns without an RMA number may be refused or delayed.

  • Do not write on or tape directly to manufacturer packaging

  • Step 4: Refund ProcessingReturns are inspected upon receipt (typically 5−7 business days)
  • Refunds are processed within 30 days of receiving the return
  • You will receive email confirmation when your refund is processed
  • Refunds appear in your account according to your financial institution’s policies

Your California Consumer RightsCalifornia Civil Code Protections:

  • You retain all rights under California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act
